On June 11th, the City Commission will begin at 6:00pm with a Workshop. The topic will be changes to the city’s Animal Code (Article 24 of the Lake Helen Codes). Siren Testing on Monday – June 1

Siren Testing is scheduled for Monday, June 1st at 11:00AM. This is only a test. The City will be testing the siren each month (1st Monday at 11:00AM) to ensure the system is functioning properly. Unfortunately, Volusia County Fire will not be issuing any fireworks permits for the upcoming July 4th holiday. Therefore, Lake Helen’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration as well as the Parade has been cancelled for 2020.
